The author, Mrs. Vandana is a teacher by profession. Born in the holy city of Varsnasi she has deep faith in God and understanding of Hindu religion. After completion of her studies, she started exploring various sutras of Vastu Shastra. In her persuit, she studied the dharma-granthas, primarily the Vedas, the Puranas and the Samarangana. She also went through many other related mythological texts and books, which carried the knowledge of Vastu Shastra and deliberations thereof. She realized that although the basic principles of Vastu Shastra confirm to the findings of modern sciences, there are unfortunately large amount of perverted writings on the subject leading to various apparent misunderstandings..

The teacher within her took to propagate the factual portion of Vastu Shastra. After gathering sufficient experience by several case studies, she wrote a book – VASTU GYAN – EK PARICHAY. Her objective is to present an idol of realization of her rendezvous with Vastu-Shastra.
