The place at which a building is constructed, the direction and the arrangements given to the building, are instrumental in determination of the results that the users are destined to fetch.

Energy exists in the universe in different known-unknown forms. Some forms are apparent while others are not realised automatically. Vastu-Shastra analyses the existence of different forms of energy, their sources, the direction of flow and the quantum of effects etc. on different aspects of life in any Vastu entity. It is presumed that in specific situations, the construction, arrangements and method of use of various parts of a building can be made to yield desirable results in life by acquiring desired form and quantum of energy flowing in the building and surroundings and by somewhat controlling the flow to attain the objectives.

Vastu-Shastra is the crux of knowledge gathered by several generations on the above aspect. It attempts to provide details about selecting proper piece or plot of land for construction of house, arranging it and the method of use in accordance with the laws of nature.

It is not very practicable and easy to follow these principles in today's materialistic life style. In modern days, it is almost impossible to get or acquire all the virtues of Vastu in a single unit of house. However, no house is absolutely unliveable as per Vastu principles. Some simple changes in arrangements and way of living can lead to fetch desirable results of Vastu-Shastra.

There are volumes of literature on Vastu-Shastra and they all propagate several views. It is but natural for any modern writer to interpret the principles putting values of contemporary world. This sometimes results in retorting the basic principles.

The site attempts to propagate the original basic values from Vedas and Puranas, the established literatures in mythology and the scientific interpretations of modern days all pertaining to Vastu-Shastra.
